Rent Relief Mt Hotham
In alignment with the State Government’s Commercial Tenancy Relief Scheme, the RMB is able to offer rent relief for commercial head lessees for the period 28 July 2021 to 15 January 2022. Rent relief will be paid proportionately to the level of commerciality of the head lease and its subtenants, just as it was in 2020. For the purpose of this program, not-for-profits and incorporated associations are again categorised as 100% commercial.

In order to apply for rent relief, simply complete the attached forms and return them to property@mthotham.com.au by 30 September 2021. This includes:

• Signing the rent relief program terms and conditions, and nominating if you would like a credit or refund for rent already paid during the relief period.
• Completing the spreadsheet noting commercial subtenants, which is similar to the spreadsheet you submitted to the RMB in 2020 but with figures updated to reflect the applicable rent period (28 July 2021 to 15 January 2022).

There is no need to complete other Commercial Tenancy Relief Scheme forms or provide additional evidence of the reduction in your turnover between 2019 and 2021. Instead, the RMB will use the reduction in total resort visitation during this period plus information you have already submitted as part of other Victorian Government business support programs to substantiate the application of this program.
